Meet the Team

Dr. Princess Gabor, Ed.D., LCPC
Owner, Psychotherapist, Supervisor
I hold a Doctorate Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision and I am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am a certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and a certified Mental Health and Nutrional Clinical Specialist. In addition, I am certified in neuropsychotherapy, and Trauma Therapy.
I have extensive professional experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with children & adults with concerns including relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, & parent coaching. I worked in residential, hospitals, private practice, & in-house counseling. I facilitated group & individual supervision, parenting education, couples, groups, family, & substance use therapy.
I work with culturally diverse clients using neuroscience, nourishment, music, art, role-play and play therapy. I have an integrated style of counseling which allows me to help clients receive individualized treatment. Using this approach accommodates each client’s learning style and perceptions as they go through their process at their own capacity.
I truly believe that everything in life that happens is there for a purpose which should not be thought of as a mistake, but as an experience that will bring wisdom, strength, and growth as an individual.

Mayra Lucero, MHP
Junior Mental Health Counselor
As a bilingual Spanish-speaking mental health professional, I am dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and a wide range of life stressors. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2021 and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northeastern Illinois University.
My clinical experiences include community mental health, psychosocial rehabilitation programs, group psychotherapy, and school settings. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered modalities to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.
I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space that encourages holistic healing and personal growth. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship and providing culturally responsive care can inspire a more harmonious and fulfilling life. With empathy and commitment, I encourage clients to express their emotions authentically as we work together to overcome challenges, build resilience, and discover inner strengths.

Lindsay Calhoun, MHP
Junior Mental Health Counselor
I am an emerging therapist with a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. I believe in utilizing the wisdom of the body in our approach to mental health, and taking a collaborative approach with clients, ensuring that clients feel empowered in charting a course through their own healing journey. I am interested in serving clients with anxiety, ADHD, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Currently, I am training in the somatic experiencing method, and I am working towards a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Northeastern Illinois University. I am a continuing student at the Embodied Education Institute of Chicago in Dance Movement Therapy. My therapeutic approach stems from person-centered approaches to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In addition, I believe in customizing the therapy experience and meeting the client where they are at.
My goal with each client is to hold space for each client to be able to express themselves authentically and to feel empowered to be agents of change in their own lives. I am committed to fostering growth and healing through authentic self-expression and emotional resonance.
